I Love Paris

The Eiffel Tower is one of my favorite monuments. I went to Paris last year with my mother and brother. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I loved hearing people speak French. I loved the art museums. All those impressionist paintings! I loved them all. The food was delicious!I know some Americans are boycotting France, but I won't do that. I hope to go back again one day.

Cole Porter, an American composer and songwriter, wrote a song about Paris in 1953. Have you ever heard it?

Every time I look down on this timeless town
whether blue or gray be her skies.
Whether loud be her cheers or soft be her tears,

I love Paris in the springtime.

I love Paris in the winter when it drizzles,
